“ I always wanted to try this Caribbean restaurant every time I came to Preston, but I never got around to it. This time I finally got a chance to try turtle bay. Rum BBQ Ribs with coconut rice, Jerk Pit Wings and sweet potato fries are what I ordered. The cuisine is completely different from European cuisine and tastes very novel. This is definitely not to say that this restaurant is not delicious, on the contrary, the food at this restaurant is outstanding. Both the Jerk series and Rum BBQ series have a spicier flavor, with Rum BBQ being spicier in comparison. At the same time, there are notes of complex spices and garlic. All in all, it was a very unique and delicious flavor that surprised me, who is tired of European cuisine. A very good restaurant, worth visiting again. “ My daughter and I stopped here for lunch today. Our waitress Lottie was lovely and very attentive. She took our drinks order straight away and we didn't have to wait long for our food either. The food was delicious, especially the prawns. They had a little kick but not too spicy. The cocktails were nice as well and it was good to see some new ones on the menu. Overall a pleasant experience. Recently been again. Funnily enough we ordered the same food. Everything was even better than last time, apart from the curry chickpeas on the sharing platter. The previous dish was better, in my opinion. Very hard to eat because it's so sloppy, the bread gets too wet. The staff were fantastic and we did notice new things on the menu, so will definitely be back again to try the prawn curry. ”

The bartender was also very nice and provided the best drinks (sorry we didn’t manage to catch their name). The food was very, very good. “ Overall the place has some good vibes and is a large premise that is well decorated. The food is well prepared, which is delicious and presented nicely. The starters were great with the salted fish and the other with the prawns (worth mentioning you need to get your hand messy). Mocktails were also good. There was a bit of a wait to be seated from the host, which was a rocky start. However, Eliana our table waitress was attentive and adds great value to the restaurant; she helped overcome the initial hurdle for a colleague and made it a good experience in the end. Two for one cocktails are fantastic, menu was given out upon entry which is a bonus with no bookings for late hours and counter remains stylish in the dark.
